Financial Literacy

I joined Kirk Lynn and Adrienne Meyer from the Severna Park Chamber of Commerce as presenters at the Financial Literacy Advisory at Severna Park High School. My clients are wonderful examples of financial literacy. They put their education to work in good jobs, spent less than they made enabling them to save, and did not take big risks with their money. They want the same habits to be passed to their children and grandchildren. Financial literacy is a legacy that they want to pass to the next generation. Providing assistance for education and housing are the most common themes of how an inheritance is to be used. The chance to assist our schools in training the next generation in financial literacy is an opportunity to give back to the community that reflects the values of my clients.
