Taking care of our community
As the whole country and the state of Maryland experience a surge in Covid-19, we are taking extra precautions at the office (including not being at the office very much!) Warmer weather and low case rates allowed us to do in-person meetings on our porch through the summer and fall. As the public health crisis worsens, all in-person consultations are on hold.
Video Conferences
We continue to meet with clients over video and over the phone.
Remote e-Signing, Witnessing and Notarization
The governor of Maryland has extended the emergency order to allow for remote witnessing of wills, so we can continue to do signings over video conference. The law authorizing remote notarization took permanent effect on October 1, so we now offer remote notary services for our documents.
Quick Document Signings
We are able to do quick in-person signings either in the office or in your car to minimize contact.
Wills & Powers of Attorney for Health Care Workers at No Cost
In gratitude for your continued service, we continue to offer wills and powers of attorney for doctors, nurses and hospital staff at no cost. Please refer your loved ones to take care of this important step during a difficult time.
Donate to SPAN
Since 1990, SPAN has been assisting neighbors in need with utility turn-offs, court-ordered evictions, prescription/medical needs and food. Help us support our community and make a donation.
