FAQ Friday: Karla Horn discusses PR's in Estates

On Friday, November 15th, our estate administrator, Karla Horn, discusses personal representatives in estates.

Your personal representative does not need to live in the state of Maryland. However, if they don’t live in MD, they will need a resident agent that can receive mail on their behalf.

You only need one personal representative, thought you can have more. We don’t often see more than two. Having two sometimes presents issues such as additional coordination needed and lots of communication. One positive is being able to share the work.
