FAQ Friday: Quick Tip: How to avoid probate for your car

On Friday, October 13th, Juliana Mann discusses how to avoid probate for your car.

In the State of Maryland you can choose who gets your vehicle in the event you pass away. Naming a beneficiary now means avoiding probate and making it much easier for your loved ones.

To sign into this page on the MVA website, click “all vehicle services” and you should see “designating a beneficiary on a vehicle title”.

There is a $20 fee and you will receive a new title in the mail once you make the change.
