Attorney Paula Mattson-Sarli shares a personal story today. Her husband is having a significant surgery soon which has prompted her to review their healthcare documents more closely. Often we hear from our clients that they will complete their documents, sign them and then put them in a closet and forget about them.

However, with surgeries these healthcare documents might need to be used and in unfortunate cases your estate documents might need to be used as well.
