FAQ Friday: Will planning process

On Friday, July 8th, at 11am EST, Mr. Berger describes our process for Will Planning for a family with minor children.

We embrace technology and utilize our whole team to provide the most well-rounded experience.

The first step is setting up an appointment, by booking via our website, sending Arianna an email or calling the office and speaking with Erikka or Sabrina.

After your meeting is set, we’ll send an invoice and forms to prepare for either your virtual or in-person. If married, we require both parties present at this meeting.

At your consultation, we will review your forms and discuss whether a Will or Trust is in your best interest based off your assets, plan and family dynamic. We will then discuss any specific questions that helps us complete your documents.

We will schedule your document review and signing appointments and also retrieve a retainer for half of the total cost.

We will send your documents out to you for your review prior to our appointment.

During the review we will explain the purpose of each document. You will not be going home with the documents as we will send the original Will to the Register of Wills office.

We then work on your beneficiary designations. When the ROW sends us the acceptance of your Will, then we will put all of your documents along with this receipt into a book for you and set one last meeting that discusses all included.
